Before founding Apers, he spent years in investment banking, private equity, and real estate development, structuring and underwriting over $1 billion in transactions for sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and endowments. That experience — building pro formas by hand, parsing rent rolls at 2am, running sensitivity tables that broke every time assumptions changed — is what led him to build Apers.
Francis holds a Master in Real Estate from Harvard University and MPA from Columbia. Apers was incubated at MIT.
